Century Age of Ashes Gameplay shows game modes and classes
Towards the end of last year, we had a glimpse of the newly unveiled CENTURY dragon fight: Age of Ashes at Game Awards. Dragons are generally scarce and coveted, great shows, but in this game is all the experience. The Playwing developer released a new trailer that gives more details on the gameplay, especially with regard to playable classes, game modes and cards. The second closed beta started yesterday and it s a part of the new content that players will try before the full launch of the game next month.
There are currently three playable classes; Marauder, Windguard and Phantom. Marauders have the ability to follow enemies and lock on them. They also inflict increased damage to targeted enemies. They have two distinct capabilities that can block incoming attacks and eliminate shields or disorient enemies without shield. The Windguard can treat and protect close allies. They can also leave a poison drag to cover their escape or use an explosion to flee enemies. Ghosts can hide for a short time. Attack when masked cancels the action, but the first fireball inflicts increased damage. They can also launch mines on surfaces that explode when an enemy approaches. This can help cover an escape in restricted spaces.
There are some different cards, each with a separate look and play style. Century: Age of ASHES currently offers three different game modes. Carnage is a 6V6 team death match where the more you kill, the more valuable your premium. Survival is a 6V6V6 mode where you have limited reappearances and the only way to return is a teammate recovers your soul and brings it back to your team base. Gates of Fire is a bit like the CTF, but once you have the flag, you have to cross eight doors to win. CENTURY: AGE OF ASHES is currently holding its second beta, but should be launched in April on PC.
