Reggie Son Aim joins the presentation of Game Awards
You may have noticed an article on our site yesterday, giving an overview of some of the industry s celebrities and personalities that will present this year at Game Awards. Well, apparently, this article has been published a little too early, because later in the day, another presenter has been announced — and it s a big problem.
Reggie Longtime has been officially announced as presenter of this year s Game Awards. You could recognize it as the former president of Nintendo of America. Longtime was president of Nintendo of America for 13 years before leaving this post earlier last year. After working with Nintendo for a total of 15 years, Longtime retired from his position to work as an instructor in Cornell Dyson — a school of applied economics and management where he currently transmits his decades of experience to new enthusiastic students.
Longtime has been replaced by the well named Doug Bowler who is currently president of Nintendo of America. Although Longtime may no longer be in the video game industry, it is always a major personality of the industry and has a fairly important fans base. This is not the first year of presentation of Longtime at the awards ceremony, far from it. It is a seasoned presenter who made an appearance as recently as the Game Awards last year.
As he said, nothing can keep him away, and we would not want anything, I mean it s the man who guided us throughout the launch of the Nintendo Wii to the Nintendo Switch.
You can see Reggie, Troy Baker Brie Larson, Gal Gadot, Tom Holland and many others at Game Awards on Thursday, December 10th. You can find all our recent games about Game Awards, here.
