Is there a dispute between Jenkins and Lucasfilm?

Accordingly, there are creative differences between Patty Jenkins and Lucasfilm.

Specifically, it s about the screenplay of Star Wars: Rogue Squadron, which the two parties could not reach an agreement so far. Especially between Jenkins and Michelle Reagan (Senior Vice President at Lucasfilm), there are some differences in this regard, which will be eliminated.

According to the report, the director Patty Jenkins currently have no desire to struggle around with such disputes and therefore focus on other projects in which they have a larger creative clearance. Among other things, the next superhero film Wonder Woman 3, which is created in collaboration with Warner Bros. She also works on Cleopatra, where the actress Gal Gadot will also be seen in the lead role.

What does this mean for Star Wars: Rogue Squadron?

Should this report of truth accordingly, it could take a while before the movie comes to the cinemas. First, the differences would have to be cleaned up and agreed on a script.
