For the second time within a season, the English football second division Derby County will be punished with a drastic point deduction. As the club trained by ex-national player Wayne Rooney announced, he accepted a deduction of nine counters because of a violation of the rules of EFL (English Football League) for profitability and sustainability. Due to insolvency application, the former football master had been deducted twelve points in September. The appeal against it was rejected.
