On March 28, 2002, the Japanese original version of a very special work that supposed the starting point of a saga full of magic. Kingdom Hearts proposed a great adventure whose attraction wHearts III in mixing characters from the universe Disney with some of Square Enix (Final FantHearts IIIy mainly) and other new faces that we did not take to save a Very special space in our hearts players. Today, March 28, 2022, The Saga turns 20 and for that reHearts IIIon we have wanted to remember its origin and make a brief review of its evolution over these two decades.

20 years of the birth of Kingdom Hearts

With up to eight main games and other secondary games whose history is also Canon, the story created by Tesuya Nomura hHearts III given many laps since Sora, Riku and Kairi left from the islands of destiny in search of living a great epic full of dangers, mysteries and unforgettable moments. Hearts III the years were elapsed, seen the success and good reception that the first delivery had, they were throwing several spin-off and sequelae in various platforms to form a narrative that raised its complexity to the square with the arrival of Kingdom Hearts III, the LHearts IIIt title added in the saga at the time of writing these lines.

Launched in 2019, the third numbered delivery received opinions found from a fan community with very high expectations, since we had been waiting since 2010 (when KH re: Coded to Nintendo DS) to meet again with Sora and company. Currently, despite having held its twentieth anniversary, we do not have weight news regarding the saga beyond the recent arrival of all the titles of the franchise to Nintendo Switch through a version in the cloud.

We do not know what the future will bring us but what we have clear is that the Kingdom Hearts saga is far from signed its definitive outcome. We hope to celebrate another 20 years of magical adventures and unexpected encounters among characters we will always remember.
