That is the reason why “I decided after the successful relegation with a heavy heart to give up my offices as President of the e.V. and as managing director of the KGAA and to concentrate on my company.”

“We regretted the resignation of Klaus Hofmann with regret, but of course respect his decision,” said Thomas Müller, chairman of the supervisory board of FC Augsburg, accepted the reasons from Hofmann and wishes him “only the best”. “Klaus Hofmann has strongly shaped the development of the club since December 2014, so that the FCA is now as stable as we experience it today.”
